The Coastal Tour
Follow the R675 road out of Tramore. This route will bring you along The Copper Coast Goepark to the bustling market town of Dungarvan via Annestown, Bonmahon, Stradbally and Clonea. Just a few miles from Dungarvan you will find yourself in the heart of the Gaeltacht, where the Irish Language and Traditional Music and Dance still flourish. East Coast Village Tour
Take the road for Dunmore East from Waterford City. Follow the signs to Cheekpoint, a quiet fishing village. Return back the same road to Passage East, another picturesque village. Travel onwards, passing the sandy beach at Woodstown to Dunmore East, the busy fishing and yachting village with its sheltered coves. Take the scenic road back to Tramore via Portally, Rathmoylan and Ballymacaw.
The Comeragh Drive
Follow the road to Waterford joining the N25 Lemybrien, taking a right turn to follow the Comeragh Drive, the R676. This circular drive will bring you through some truly magnificent mountain scenery and the spectacular Mahon Falls. Here just by the Fairy Tree you will find the Magic Road where your car will drive backwards up the hill while the engine is switched off! Take time to savour the magical view that lies between the Comeragh and Monavullagh Mountain ranges.
The Vee Gap
Travel to Dungarvan along the N25 taking the N72 to Lismore Castle, Gardens and Art Gallery (www.lismorecastle.com and www.lismorecastlearts.ie ). Travel northwards through the Knockmealdown Mountains, passing Mount Mellary Monastery to the Vee Gap at the summit where the view takes in the breathtaking splendour of West Waterford and extends over the plain of Tipperary.
