DAY 1

Travel on the Cruise Ferry from Pembroke or Fishgaurd to Rosslare Harbour on the South East Coast. Then take a drive through Waterford County and City and along the N25 to the turn off for Tramore. Here you will find The Grand Hotel located in the centre of the Town overlooking Tramore Bay and its 5kms of spectacular golden sandy beach.

DAY 2

Head into Waterford City for a chance to explore the sights of the City including Reginald's Tower and its two Cathedrals. Its no surprise that the City's most popular tourist attraction is the world famous Waterford Crystal Factory. A visit to the Waterford Crystal Showrooms and factory is a must, where you can take a tour of the factory and watch the Craftsmen at work or treat yourself to a souvenir in the Visitors Centre. Spend the afternoon free, shopping in Waterford City as everybody deserves some retail therapy.

DAY 3

Journey North for today's excursion to Historic Kilkenny, one of the most interesting towns in Ireland. Set in a commanding position overlooking the River Nore, Kilkenny Castle is centre stage of Irelands Medieval City and one of its most famous Castles. For a real insight into Kilkenny's history join a walking tour of the City starting at Shee Almshouse and taking in such fascinating places as Rothe House and The Tholsel.
Alternatively visit The Kilkenny Design Centre in the Castle stable block or relax with a pint of the black stuff in one of the City's 80 pubs.

DAY 4

Follow the R675 road out of Tramore. This route will bring you West along The Copper Coast Goepark to the bustling market town of Dungarvan via Annestown, Bonmahon, Stradbally and Clonea. Just a few miles from Dungarvan you will find yourself in the heart of the Gaeltacht, where the Irish Language and Traditional Music and Dance still flourish. Continue along the coast road to Ardmore and on into Cork City. Cork is divided by bridges which cross the River Lee and give this City a distinctively continental air. It is a myriad of Georgian houses and Quays, bustling markets and fantastic array of shops. Alternatively on route to Cork stop off at the Midleton Distillery for the "Jameson Experience" or relax at Fota Wildlife Park before arriving in Cork City.

DAY 5

Head North to Wicklow the "Garden of Ireland" famous for its Mountains and its wonderful Estate Gardens, pretty villages and the excellent Monastic site and Heritage Centre at Glendalough and the "Meeting of the Waters". The charming town of Avoca well known in the past for its hand weaving craft outlets is the setting for the popular BBC TV series "Ballykissangle". Here you can visit many of the famous landmarks from the show including Fountain Bar, St. Josephs Church and the Post Office.

DAY 6

After a relaxing morning in Tramore, depart for the delightful City of Wexford, a vibrant old place packed with fine pubs and a varied Art Scene. Take a stroll down the meandering Main Street and explore the narrow alley ways and craft shops. From here make your way to Rosslare Harbour for the ferry home.
